Ron Davis Alvarez is one of CNN’s Heroes 2024 !

We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that Ron Davis Alvarez – founder and artistic director of Dream Orchestra – has been selected as one of the 2024 CNN Heroes.

Thanks to his dedication and work around the world and since 2016 especially with Dream Orchestra, more than 400 children, young people and families from more than 25 countries, have learned to play an instrument in the orchestra, a safe environment where to make new friends.

 An orchestra, it’s like a community: different people, different voices, different melodies. Everybody has their own role and they all connect to each other. Imagine if the world worked more like an orchestra. We would have a better world for sure.

CNN Heroes is an annual initiative, by the United States news network CNN, that honors ordinary people for their selfless and creative efforts to make the world a better place. In its 18 years of existence, CNN Heroes has received almost 100,000 nominations from people in more than 100 countries. Since 2007, the campaign has chosen nearly 400 heroes who have helped millions of people around the world and this year, Ron Davis Alvarez has been named one of the CNN Heroes 2024.
