Harmonie Foundation
Eight children from the Harmonie Foundation Orchestra have been selected for the first time this year to attend the SEYO – Sistema Europe Youth Orchestra –camp. Its culmination will be a festive performance on the stage of the mythical Odeon amphitheater in Athens. As many as 250 young musicians will give their performance on August 1 at the end of the annual Hellenic Festival. Taking part are children from the European countries that organize their own programs inspired by the famous El Sistema project. During the final performance the host organization, El Sistema Greece, will also bring on to the stage children from the Skaramagkas refugee camp who will join in the concert´s closing piece – Ode to Joy.
