The Concert in Church of sv. Vavřinec

The concert will be our own contribution to the celebrations of the 700th anniversary of the birth of Charles IV, known as the Father of His Country
Starting at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016

Church of sv. Vavřinec pod Petřínem, Hellichova Street 18/553, Prague 5 – Lesser Town

The Orchestra will perform the following compositions:

  • Charpentier – Te Deum
  • Mozart – A Little Night Music
  • Dvořák – New World Symphony – Largo
  • Smetana – Proč bychom se netěšili

Chamber orchestra made up of the Harmonie Foundation Orchestra teachers will also perform as part of the concert:

  • Louis Armstrong – What A Wonderful World
  • Ennio Morricone – Once Upon a Time in the West
  • Carlos Gardel – Tango Por una Cabeza
  • B.J. Thomas – Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head
  • Alan Silvestri – Forrest Gump
  • Karl Jenkins – Palladio
